Sheikh Naeem Qassem, the Secretary-General of Hezbollah Lebanon, in his speech stated: “The words of the martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah are a light of guidance, and Imam Khamenei said about him that he is incomparable.”In his remarks on the 40th day of martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, he added: “Martyr Nasrallah brought together all segments of society within the Party because Hezbollah is the party of the free, the warriors, and the honorable.”He sent greetings to the resistance fronts, with Iran at the forefront: “We are facing Israel’s aggressive war against Lebanon, and we send our greetings to the resistance fronts from Yemen to Iraq and Lebanon, with the immense support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.”Sheikh Naeem Qassem emphasized: “Netanyahu faces a major project that extends from Gaza and Palestine to Lebanon and the Middle East. Since 2006, we have been training, arming, and providing resources, and we foresaw that a war would happen.”He continued: “The fighters and Hezbollah have a solid and firm Islamic ideology, and a martyr is someone who is not afraid of death, fights, and remains alive.” The Secretary-General of Hezbollah added: “The elements of the enemy’s power are genocide, killing civilians, oppression, occupation, and brutal behavior.””We will make the Zionist enemy request a ceasefire.”He added: “In our view, the battlefield and the internal front will stop the war. The Zionist regime will cry out from the rockets and drones of the resistance, and no place in this regime will be safe from the reach of the resistance’s drones and missiles, and the coming days will prove this.” The Secretary-General of Hezbollah stated: “We will make the Zionist enemy request a ceasefire.””We do not place our hopes on political developments or the U.S. elections.”Sheikh Naeem Qassem remarked that “We do not place our hopes on political developments or the U.S. elections, rather we rely solely on the battlefield.” He continued: “The only way for the resistance groups to prevent the enemy’s goals from being realized is through resistance.” He added: “The attempt to displace people has failed, and that is why the enemy is trying to fuel the fire of strife among the displaced and their hosts, which has also failed.”The Secretary-General of Hezbollah said: “Despite the lack of military resources, the power of the resistance is increasing, and the result of the resistance in our dictionary is the dignity and victory of the resistance.” He continued: “In our lexicon, what is important is the continuation of resistance, patience, and endurance.””The basis of negotiations is stopping the aggression.”Sheikh Naeem Qassem explained: “If the enemy decides to stop the aggression, the best way is indirect negotiations through the Lebanese government, and the basis of any negotiation is the cessation of aggression and the support for Lebanon’s sovereignty.” The Secretary-General of Hezbollah added: “I urge the Lebanese Army to clarify its position and the nature and role of UNIFIL.” He also noted: “More than a thousand Israeli soldiers and officers have been killed or wounded.”
