Following the murder of Israeli rabbi “Zvi Kogan” in the UAE, some Western and Zionist media outlets accused Iran of being involved in the killing and pointed the finger at Iran.However, after the identities of the perpetrators of the assassination were revealed, Israel Hayom newspaper reported, citing Israeli sources, that there is no evidence or document linking Iran to the assassination of Rabbi Kogan.Earlier, the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth had quoted Israeli security sources accusing Iran of involvement in the incident, stating that a group of Uzbek nationals, operating under Iran’s supervision, had left the UAE for Turkey after the incident.According to Israeli officials, the body of the Israeli rabbi, who had been missing in the UAE, was discovered four days later in the country.Some media outlets also published photos of him in Israeli military uniform, indicating that he had served in the Israeli army.According to the report, the UAE security services identified the murderers as three Uzbek citizens named “Olympi Toheirovich Davlatyarov” (28 years old), “Mahmood Jun Abdulrahim Kenjabiov” (28 years old), and “Azizbek Kamloovitch Ismailov” (33 years old).The UAE Ministry of the Interior announced on Sunday evening that it had arrested the three individuals responsible for Kogan’s murder in the shortest time possible.The UAE stated that after the rabbi’s disappearance was reported by his family, an investigative team was formed, leading to the discovery of his body and the identification of the killers, who were subsequently arrested.
